About Native Sun

Built for the places
that power America.

Native Sun Energy is an Oklahoma-based energy company connecting practical infrastructure, domestic manufacturing, and community-centered development.

Our purpose

Energy systems should create lasting value where they are built.

We started Native Sun with a straightforward belief: the transition to new energy systems should make communities stronger, create skilled work, and leave more capability on American soil.

Our work spans solar, storage, geothermal, grid-supporting infrastructure, and advanced manufacturing. We bring those pieces together around the needs of the site—not around a one-size-fits-all product.

That means listening first, designing for real operating conditions, and building partnerships that can hold up over the long term.

Where we come from

Oklahoma perspective.
National ambition.

01

Founder-led

Led by Preston Porter, a citizen of the Chickasaw Nation, U.S. Army combat veteran, and commercial construction professional.

02

Build-minded

Our foundation is in schedules, sites, permits, coordination, and the practical work required to move infrastructure forward.

03

Community-centered

We develop around local priorities, regional strengths, and the people who will live with each project for years to come.

04

American-made

We are working toward more resilient domestic supply chains and more advanced manufacturing capacity at home.

How we operate

Principles that show up in the work.

01

Sovereignty

We build infrastructure that strengthens the independence of the communities and organizations it serves.

02

Service

We approach every project with the discipline, accountability, and follow-through required to earn trust.

03

Stewardship

Land, capital, and community relationships are long-term responsibilities—not short-term inputs.

04

Transparency

Clear communication, realistic expectations, and visible progress guide every partnership.
